The author had a very specific vision for the book cover where she wanted to convey the idea of the insidious nature of some of the characters in her life story using the imagery of twisting serpents. She was extremely happy with the cover design results which conveyed the twisted themes of her story, creating an air of dark mystery to draw in potential readers. Her story ends with hope, but it was important to her for the cover to emphasize the dark and dangerous tones of her narrative at first glance.
