Dolls 1,2,3

As part of my work in product development at Anita Goodesign, I had the opportunity to create a collection of customizable dolls, from concept, to design and creative direction of the final product. The idea was to integrate the collection with our already successful 1,2,3 line where products are fully customizable in 3 simple steps. The customer first chooses the character, then the outfit, and lastly the accessories to create a unique doll for their little one. It was, by far, one of the most rewarding projects I’ve done to date.

Friends…

I created a mix & match system with 14 characters, 90 individual outfit pieces, and 20+ accessories for a total of over 130 pieces of vector illustration. Each of these pieces had to be planned as textile patterns to be turned into embroidered fabric dolls.

…and their pets.

Customers can change up their doll’s appearance and switch up outfits by mix & matching different pieces.

I led the Graphic Design team at Anita Goodesign in completing the Dolls 1,2,3 collection book. I directed the team into adapting a “school notebook” theme throughout the layout, incorporating elements like doodles, action photography of the dolls, and yearbook-style profiles for each character.

Let’s play!
